One extreme is the 'dictator' type of manager who is dominating, makes quick decisions, overrules anyone who dissents and, as a consequence, ends up with poor decisions. At the other extreme you might find the 'country club' type of manager who ensures that everyone feels good, but little action is taken or progress made.
Most people, at some time in their life, are asked to pass on skills, information or ideas, to someone who may be new to the job. You may be asked to do this formally, at a certain time of the day, against a written schedule, or informally, when it suits both you and the trainee best. In either case, there are some important issues to consider.

After each lesson there will be a question paper, which needs to be completed and submitted to your personal tutor for marking. This method of continual assessment ensures that your personal tutor can consistently monitor your progress and provide you with assistance throughout the duration of the course.
