You must complete at least 50% of the course and pass the associated assignments before you are eligible to be entered for the exams.
The average time it takes to complete the course is 18 months.
The assessment consists of written exams
GCSE: Practical assessments are required. You will need to find your own school or college to complete the practical assessments. iGCSE: No practicals required.
Practical assessments must be completed before sitting the written exams.
Tutors & Exams will provide the exam centre and oversee the examination process.
No membership is required to enrol on this course.
Learners will choose between GCSE and iGCSE when booking their exams. Full details of both are in the course (unit 2).
You can expect to receive your certificate 3 months after receiving the result.
£40 for six months, maximum of twice. If expired more than six months ago, or have already had two extensions, then they need to restart the course and pay again.
All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.
*You will have access to the course for 24 months.

Once you finish each module you will need to complete a Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA) to evidence your understanding. This is completed online, then submitted to your tutor for marking. Your tutor will then assess the assignment and return it to you with its final grade and feedback.
On successful completion of all assignments included in the course, you will be ready to take your exam!
*Please also note that we do not offer the practical element of the GCSE Biology exam, it is your responsibility to organise this aspect of your course examination. (There are no practical exams in iGCSE Biology).
*Please also note the qualification will be graded on a nine-point scale: 1 to 9 – where 9 is the best grade.

As it stands, Tutors and Exams has five examination centres in different locations around the country, these include Bolton, Coventry, Doncaster, St Neots Cambridgeshire and Wimbledon. Each of these centres is approved for examination delivery by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).
Our Tutors and Exams service also boasts a dedicated Science laboratory, which is based in Birmingham and has the ability to deliver A Level Science practicals throughout the year and access to another Science laboratory located in London.
