For all we know about the human body and the natural world, we have barely scratched the surface. That is why biology is one of the most rapidly evolving fields in the world of science.
Studying Biology – either on its own or alongside the other core sciences – will help you build an understanding of the world around us. It will also give you the opportunity to study Biology at A-level and beyond.
You will study a number of different topics including cell biology, infection and response, and ecology. You will also discover how these topics are all connected.
By the time you have completed your course, you will have a comprehensive understanding of biology including key theories and principles. This will enable you to develop your knowledge further through the study of A-level or an Access to HE Diploma.
