Human Biology is the study of the structure and function of the human body, looking at how the human species evolved, how we change over our lifespan, how we adapt to life stressors, and how our how our bodies are influenced by food, nutrition, disease, and environmental factors.
But for everything we know, there’s so much more to discover, such as immunology and evolution.
This course will develop your knowledge of human biology, with a focus on the medical aspects of human processes, examining how the human species evolved, how we change over our lifespan, and how external factors affect us. You learn about the physiology of the major systems of the body, the impact of nutrition and environment on health, and human development and evolution.
There are no entry requirements required to enrol on this course.
The average time it takes to complete the course is 18 months.
Exams are not included.
No membership is required to enrol on this course.
£40 for six months, maximum of twice. If expired more than six months ago, or have already had two extensions, then they need to restart the course and pay again.
All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.

Your course starts with two short units that cover everything you need to know about iGCSE Human Biology, all about the exams, and includes some great advice on how to successfully study online.
Units 3 to 14 cover the Human Biology part of the course, and include:
At the end of your course are a set of mock exams.
You will be assessed regularly through assignments marked by your tutor and at the end with the mock exams. Please note that the exams are not included in this course.
If you want to add the exams later, you can!
Should you go on to take the exams, you will achieve the Pearson iGCSE in Human Biology.
