  • Essential settings: access company preferences and configuration and introduction to financial year start date
  • Setting up nominal codes: nominal account categories and structures 
    • Bank accounts: access control accounts and create bank records and bank account lists
    • Access nominal codes:  nominal codes in analyser, graph and list view, nominal account types, customising, amending and deleting nominal records, creating nominal accounts 
  • Customising the chart of accounts: customising and checking the chart of accounts and introduction to floating accounts 
  • Departments: creating departments and department custom field 
  • Creating customer and supplier records: trading terms, account code preparation, new supplier/custom account defaults, analysis fields, supplier and customer record tabs and customer and supplier lists
  • Customer and supplier opening balances: obtaining outstanding balances, customer/ supplier opening balances and balances of customer/supplier accounts and correcting opening balances 
  • Nominal opening balances: existing nominal balances, reversing nominal balances, entering and checking nominal opening balances and understanding bank opening balance
